Section I – THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
We believe the entire Bible, i.e. the old and New Testaments, is verbally inspired by God.
We believe the Bible to be the complete revelation of God to man.
We believe the Bible to be the final authority and perfect rule for all Christian living.

We believe in one God existing eternally as a trinity of persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe they are co-equal in every divine attribute.
We believe in each having a distinct office in the work of creation and redemption.

We believe He is the unique and only begotten Son of God.
We believe His advent into the world was by a virgin birth.
We believe He is the Christ, the anointed One of God (Jehovah), the messiah of Israel, the second Person of the Godhead.
We believe in His humanity, His perfect and sinless life.
We believe in His vicarious atonement for the sins of the human race by the shedding of His blood on the cross.
We believe in His bodily resurrection, ascension, and pre-millennial return.
We believe in His deity, and as such is the only mediator between God and man.

We believe that He is the first Person of the Godhead, invisible, eternal and sovereign.

We believe in His deity as the third Person of the Godhead.
We believe He indwells all believers and empowers them for service.
We believe that He convicts the world of sin.

Section VI – MAN
We believe that he was created in innocency by a direct act of God.
We believe he voluntarily transgressed God’s command.
We believe that all men are born sinners and therefore are guilty and stand condemned before God.
We believe in the total depravity of man.
We believe that all men without Christ are under God’s condemnation.

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the absolute freeness to all those who accept it.
We believe in the eternal security of the believer.
We believe that it is the immediate duty of all to accept the Gospel by sincere repentance and obedient faith.

A. Church Universal
We believe it is the body and Bride of Christ composed of all regenerate persons from Pentecost to Rapture.
We believe it is the distinct entity and is not the nation Israel.
B. Church Local
We believe it is an organized local congregation of baptized believers.
We believe it is completely autonomous and as such is independent of government or secular organizations.
We believe that Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial are its only ordinances.
We believe its chief purpose according to the scriptures is to build up the local body of believers in the faith and to extend the Gospel to the
uttermost parts of the earth.

Section IX – HEAVEN
We believe in a literal heaven, the place where all the redeemed will experience eternal happiness and bliss.

Section X – HELL
We believe in a literal hell, the place prepared for the Devil and his angels and where the unregenerate will suffer eternal punishment.

Section XI – SATAN
We believe that Satan is a person as described in the Bible and does not refer to an impersonal evil force or influence.

A. Church
We believe in the total separation from all movements and organizations which are contrary to the clear
teaching of Scripture, e.g. ecumenism, liberalism, neo evangelicalism, etc.
We believe that such systems are devilish and anti-Christ.
We believe that the modern charismatic movement and Pentecostal movement are unscriptural.
B. Believers
We believe in the purity and modesty of the believer.
We believe that the believer’s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and as such the believer should abstain from all worldliness
and sinful practices such as the drinking and selling of intoxicating beverages, smoking, gambling, dancing, movie-going, etc.
We believe that the believer should refrain from any alliance which would be injurious to a good Christian testimony,
e.g. membership in lodges, etc.

We believe that the Lord’s Day is the first day of the week and should be kept sacred for spiritual purposes.
We believe that the church and the Government should be separate as they have been ordained of God.
We believe that civil government is of divine appointment for the interests and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honoured and obeyed, except things opposed to the will of God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
We do not believe that healing is in the atonement, nor do we believe in the second work of grace or the second blessing.
We do not believe in the gift of tongues for this age.
